The second painting of the collection of four depicts trauma. If you look closely, you will see in this illustration of myself as a child, there is a buried flower, hard to see, but trying to bloom. A victim of sexual abuse at the small age of 4, caused these cracks in my foundation. Like a mirror, it is difficult to see the whole image. How can you develop or grow when your foundation isn’t stable? In this vegetative growth stage of a flower, the flower is supposed to focus on its growth, as long as the environment is efficient. How can you bloom from such tragedy? He buried me but he didn’t realize I was a flower.
This painting is 18x18 and includes texture.
