The first painting of the collection of four depicts a simple illustration of myself as an infant, my journey displayed through a crack in the foundation of the painting. I was poured into, loved, and cared for. The beginning stages of my identity were being developed mimicking the growth of a flower. In this seed stage, it receives its basic needs; water, sunlight, and love.
